Meet Dr. Mike Collins, DC

My passion for chiropractic care began after recovering from a sports injury while playing college football. That experience inspired me to pursue a career focused on helping others improve their health, mobility, and quality of life.

I earned my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan College of Chiropractic and have nearly 30 years of experience treating musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries, and personal injury cases. In addition to patient care, I serve as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Arizona State University’s Health Innovation program and as a peer review consultant for the British Journal of Medicine.

I joined BackFit Health + Spine because of its collaborative approach to care, bringing together medical providers, chiropractors, and therapists to help patients achieve their best outcomes.

Outside of work, I enjoy staying active, spending time at the gym, and making memories with my wife, daughter, and our two dogs.

Amy Connaker, FNP-BC

Family Nurse Practitioner

Amy Connaker, FNP-BC, brings more than 15 years of healthcare experience and a passion for helping others to BackFit Health + Spine’s Desert Ridge and Phoenix clinics. Originally from Alaska, Amy’s heart for patient care began at a young age through caring for her family and has grown into a rewarding career serving patients across multiple healthcare settings.

Amy believes in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care through education, collaboration, and personalized treatment plans that help patients achieve their health and wellness goals.

Outside the clinic, Amy enjoys traveling, hiking, running, weightlifting, and exploring Arizona. She also loves crocheting and spending quality time with her twin sister and three grown children.

Annette Raddatz

Annette Raddatz was raised in Washington, where she felt a calling to become a doctor at age 8 after an encounter with the famous Dr. Collins of the Townsend Letter (an Alternative Medical journal).

After years of treatment from her local chiropractor, who saved her from ACL surgery at age 16 due to a ski injury, she began studying and mentoring with DC, MD Janel Carlson. Annette was determined to become a chiropractor and enrolled at Idaho State University, graduating in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Med. During her final semester, she received her first acupuncture treatment after a severe car accident left her immobile with debilitating pain.

The relief she experienced and the regained mobility led her to shift her focus to acupuncture and Asian
medicine. Annette attended the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine & Acupuncture (PIHMA), graduating in 2007 with a Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She is NCCAOM certified and a member of The American Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

As an expert acupuncturist, Annette Raddatz is committed to providing alternative and complementary medicine to improve health and overall well-being.

Acupuncture helps relieve pain and is effective for a variety of health issues, including arthritis, IBS, gout, neuropathy, lower back pain, neck pain, knee pain, tendonitis, migraines, flu, colds, and allergies.
