Dr. Mark Zitnik joined BackFit Health + Spine as a Chiropractor and Mesa, AZ’s Co-Owner and Operator in 2007. He is considered by many to be the foremost authority in Mesa regarding auto injury care.

He earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from the prestigious Southern California University of Health Sciences. His undergraduate degree is from the University of Illinois. While there, he also earned the distinction of becoming a four-year varsity letter winner.

“I have many lingering aches and pains to accompany the great memories of playing football at the collegiate level. It was my personal experience with crippling low back pain and disk bulge which led to my career in chiropractic. Chiropractic adjustments as well as physical therapy allowed me to become active again despite my condition.” Dr. Zitnik is offers personalized care for each and every one of his patient because of his personal experience with back pain from sports.

Dr. Zitnik continues his studies of Chiropractic, Physiotherapy, Nutrition, and the Proper Assessment and Treatment of Motor Vehicle Accident Injuries. He excels at diagnosis and treatment of neck pain, spinal adjustments, pain relief, and more.

Dr. Zitnik is still active in athletics and, since his initial diagnosis, has competed in four triathlons, his new found passion.
