Education and Work Experience 

Rachelle started off as a certified nurse’s assistant in 2004 and worked in a long-term care facility. In 2006 she obtained her licensed practical nurse license and continued to work at that same facility until she got her associate degree in nursing as a registered nurse in 2008. At that time, she started working at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington in the trauma, ortho, neuro unit. She worked there until moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2011, where she worked at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center. While at Sunrise, she worked in the orthopedic unit, intermediate care unit, cardiac ICU, pediatric ICU, and in the pre-op/post-op units. While working full time she went back for her BSN through Grand Canyon University and a couple months after finishing her BSN she started her MSN for Nurse Practitioner. Rachelle graduated from Chamberlain University in 2022 with her master’s degree in nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner certificate and started working at Summit Integrated Health as a Nurse Practitioner in March 2023. 

Rachelle’s story 

Rachelle grew up in a small town in Washington State. As a child she knew she wanted to do something in the healthcare field, but originally thought it would be with animals. She has a profound love of all animals and even did barrel racing and 4H with her horse. It wasn’t until high school she decided to start her nursing journey. Although her career started in Washington State, she moved to Las Vegas in 2011 to escape the rainy weather. She has a love for the outdoors, cooking and baking. Aside from that she has a heart of gold and loves helping people optimize their health. “It is extremely rewarding to see what a difference I can make in other people’s lives, helping them in their journey back to health”.
