Michele moved from Massachusetts to Arizona in 2019 in pursuit of better weather and to be with family.
Michele has practiced Acupuncture in Massachusetts since graduating from The New England School of Acupuncture, Cambridge, MA, in May of 2000. She has a specialty in Japanese Style Acupuncture and has studied for close to 20 years with Kiiko Matsumoto Lic.Ac. Shortly after moving she acquired an Arizona license and is nationally board certified in Acupuncture by the NCCAOM, Diplomate status.
She was motivated to join the BackFit team because of the new inclusion of Medicare coverage for treatment of back pain in seniors. The continuity of care that this affords this demographic has been proven to alleviate pain and discomfort for a happier and more active life.
Michele is also an accomplished artist. She works in oil paint and watercolor. She enjoys painting the beautiful Arizona landscape, skyscapes, and flowers.
