BackFit Health & Spine is seeking an events marketer to join our team to work with multiple area clinics to generate events, both public and corporate, to present our services to the community.
The Event Marketing Coordinator will research, set up, and attend events at local businesses, schools, health fairs, and public events, such as festivals and public fairs. A book of business will be provided, but the candidate should endeavor to grow this list through research, email/phone marketing, and in-person interaction with the local community and businesses.
This is a part-time position and weekends will be required often. Events range from corporate wellness events to large festivals in the community. The marketing coordinator will attend events, set up a table or booth, and talk to visitors about all that BackFit has to offer. At some events they will be joined by a massage therapist who will give chair massages to visitors. The Event Marketing Coordinator is responsible for storing and transporting all marketing material and equipment, sometimes including canopies and massage chairs.
The event team marketing team offers a team-based and structured environment, however, the most successful Event Marketing Coordinators are self-motivated and disciplined in managing their time and work schedules. At the core, this position is both marketing and sales. The right candidate will have an outgoing personality and enjoys sales. Qualified candidates must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills, a high level of professionalism and integrity and enjoy speaking with new people.
Responsibilities
- Attending and tabling health fairs, festivals, corporate events, and other events
- Working with a team of massage therapists to provide chair massage to public
- Find new opportunities for the marketing team
- Organize and transport supplies to events, communicate when supplies run low
- Educate the public at events about our services
- Schedule new patient appointments for our offices while at events
- Submit new patient paperwork to HQ electronically at the end of each event
- Perform other administrative/marketing duties as needed
